Cameron County Parks & Recreation Administration Building
This ground up CM-at-Risk project is a 2-story administration building that hosts Cameron County Parks and the Cameron County Regional Mobility Authority. The 8,600 SF building is windstorm certified, designed to withstand the harsh elements of South Padre Island, along with extreme weather such as hurricanes and severe wind. The first floor includes a lobby and reception area, the parks director’s office, five management staff offices, bookkeeping office, a work file/supply room, and a break room. The second floor features a training room, conference room, and future office space.
